Chawan: Red Shino Ware

A vintage red Shino yaki chawan that is in very good condition. This chawan uses traditional Shino light colored clay; it is glazed with a light colored glaze accented with red iron-oxide highlights. This bowl offers more red than typical, and has a simple incused mountain design on the outside.
