The Fukusa Basami is a pouch carried by the guest at a tea ceremony. It usually contains the essential items that the guest needs to participate: kaishi paper, sensu (fan), kobukusa (small fukusa), fork for sweets and a chakin-ire pouch. The guest may also want to carry a small plastic bag.
The man's fukusa basami is larger than the woman's. The ones pictured here are beautiful replicas of traditional Japanese kin rin donsu fabrics. If ordering, send a note on which design you want. We may have others in stock too.
